With great sadness I must inform you that Shinyung died of breast cancer on August 10th.
The loss is devastatingly deep, however family and friends are supporting each other well.
We are remembering the wonderful wife, mother and friend; remembering the positive impact that she had on each and all of us.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held in San Diego on October 13th. Please contact Jeff Enderwick directly for information.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. I loved reading her writing and sharing her life over the years. I believe her spirit will live on and watch over her kids and family. I pray that you all are at peace.

ReplyDeleteI am heartbroken to read about Shinyung's illness and passing. I started reading her beautiful writing back in 2008 and commented here on her blog and we even corresponded a bit via email. She wrote me lovely warm notes after our daughter was born in 2010. The swirl of motherhood and work took me away from her writing until I saw a note on Georgetown's site about her death. I am so very sorry. She was wonderful.
