Jeff blows glass as a hobby. I thought I'd post a photo of one of his pieces. Here's how he described it when it was auctioned earlier this year at the
Bay Area Glass Institute Great Glass Auction:
"Inspired by Davide Salvadore, Lee Militier, and The Smurfs. A tubby thing, with a white core, coated in two-tone blue transparent veil cane, with a chubby split neck."
WOW! I love stuff like that! Does he have a website? Does he sell at the Farmer's Market on Saturdays? Most importantly, does he ever have sales?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE glass. And this is a beautiful piece.
ReplyDeleteCould you ask your husband where in SF I could take beginners' classes? Hopefully not too expensive.
So, you and your husband are BOTH creative. How wonderful.
Green, I'm afraid he does not sell his pieces (although he will donate a piece here and there). But BAGI (Bay Area Glass Institute in San Jose) and Public Glass in San Francisco sell glass art.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, Public Glass in San Francisco offers classes. They also have demos where you can watch glass artists strut their thing.

Is Jeff an attorney to? I got the impression he is a focused professional.
ReplyDeleteNo, Jeff's not an attorney. That would be one too many attorneys in the family!
